Daniel Kraber

May 30, 1808 to January 18, 1882

Daniel ran D. Kraber Co., a lumber business on West Market Street near Penn Street. Kraber was a member of the Committee of Safety during the Civil War. Following the War, he was associated with the Children’s Home, the Benevolent Association and with York Borough public schools.
