Cemetery Services

Prospect Hill Cemetery offers a wide choice of burial and memorialization options including:

Pre-Planning

Advance planning gives you the peace of mind that comes with knowing your wishes have been made known and the details taken care of, the comfort of knowing your family will not have to make these decisions during the difficult time of their grief.

Traditional In-Ground Burial

The most traditional burial choice, in-ground burial typically involves a casket and is marked by a memorial tribute. Below ground burials are usually preceded by a funeral service.

Cremation

Our cemeteries offer several options for cremation burials. For the cremated remains that are place in an Urn:

  • a traditional in-ground gravesite burial
  • above ground Mausoleum Cremation Niche
  • a Columbarium (an Urn Mausoleum) – a building used solely to house cremated remains

Our Cremation Garden in Greenmount Cemetery offers an Ossuary, a receptacle made to serve as the final resting place of cremated remains that are not in an Urn.

Rose Memorial Mausoleum

Coming in Spring 2022

Our newest community mausoleum building will feature 80 above ground crypts and 96 cremation niches.

Above Ground Community Mausoleum/Crypt Burial

A community mausoleum is an above ground building memorializing multiple individuals.

Mausoleums provide you with a secure enclosure that will remain clean and completely dry without ever letting the casket or vault come in contact with the earth.

Above Ground Private Mausoleum/Crypt Burial

A private or family mausoleum is a distinct, aboveground structure built specifically at an individual’s request, usually to entomb multiple members of a single family.
