Robert Strettle Jones Fisher
May 6, 1806 to April 25, 1883
As judge he presided over a court that covered York and Adams Counties. Judge Fisher addressed the crowd gathered at the raising of the flag in Centre Square in May 1861. Judge Fisher would gain fame as the author of the first extensive county history printed in 1886.
